He has created an entity that is focused on building true partnerships with clients and employees, growing with purpose, ethical in approach, and fully aware of its social responsibilities. He is responsible for the strategy, vision and the execution of the company’s long-term plan. A champion of a balanced work-life culture who is driven by long-term goals, he is a true believer of the statement "the journey is the reward."
Purushotham has extensive global work experience of over two decade , having worked in Malaysia, Singapore, Nigeria, US, India and other parts of Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East in a wide variety of technical, leadership and strategy related roles. He is a forever student and loves to continually learn and also teach by sharing his experiences with others in his sphere of influence.
Before moving to a purely management track, he spent a number of years in techno-managerial capacity and pure technical roles with major international corporate such as Tata Technologies, Cognizant, the Intelligroup, Birlasoft, Singareni Collieries and IBM. He has in-depth experience into core enterprise application practice both on Consulting side and on Customer side; focusing on delivering highest level of business value to all stakeholders, combining superior service delivery, project management, ERP expertise and problem-solving skills for extraordinary results in each assignment.
With his remarkable leadership, Purushotham has defined the strategic direction of the Company, making Porus’s revenue grow above industry average. He has been instrumental in setting the vision for Porus Software to be positioned as a Global Service Provider and moving the Company up the value chain by focusing on differentiated services and product based offerings in a non-conventional engagement and business models. He earned his Post graduated in management from Osmania University, India.
Thilotham Kolanu (Co-founder and Director)Thilotham is the co-founder and director of Porus Software. He has played a vital role in leading the company from its inception stages to profitability. Through sheer perseverance, strong leadership, and an incessant focus on delivering customer value, he has helped in establishing Porus Software as a premier software services company.
He is the General Secretary – Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Association, Technical Committee of Andhra Pradesh chapter of Centre for Environment Education, India; Steering Committee on Biofuels, India; National Steering Committee on State of Environmental Reporting Project.
He has led over 100 major consulting assignments & research studies for state, national and international development agencies such as GTZ, KFW, World Bank, UNIDO, ADB, WSP, BHC, UNDP, MNRE &MoEF (India), FMOP (Nigeria), and IHE (Ivory Coast), Govt of Gabon etc.
He is also driving many of our strategic initiatives to help build new business areas to take Porus Software into the next phase of growth. He focuses on instilling a positive culture, trust and confidence in everyone at Porus Software while ensuring that the productivity and delivery capability of his team is consistently high. With his upfront and transparent approach, he is committed to preserving our culture of openness, ensuring an excellent working environment, maintaining a politics-free, meritocracy-based system, and inculcating a focus on cost throughout the company.
He has rich and varied experience of over 20 years having worked in India, China, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Gabon, Ivory Coast. UK, USA, Ethiopia, and Botswana across multiple industries at a global level.
Naresh Upperpalli ( Director US Operation)Naresh oversees the USA operations of Porus Software. He has an in-depth understanding of IT Services outsourcing and Global Delivery. He has significant global experience in Consulting and IT Services, having worked with leading organizations in multiple geographies including India and USA. In his career spanning over 15 years, Naresh has handled a wide variety of CXO level roles managing small & large IT Services organizations and managing a wide range of functions including sales, technology, industry & domain verticals, enterprise applications, knowledge management, process & quality, etc.
Naresh has successfully implemented several programs focusing on innovations in service delivery, project and program management excellence, continuous improvement and operational excellence. Under his leadership, his teams delivered industry leading metrics in service operations and consistently high client satisfaction scores across all service lines.
He has over 15 years of extensive experience in managing offshore centers, delivering software services to clients across US on multiple technologies and various domains. He has successfully led organizational growth through P&L management, client engagement, pre-sales support, product design & development and building high performance teams with demonstrable productivity. Also, he has identified new areas of growth and setup multiple “Centre of Excellence” to successfully drive revenue and business.
Prasanta Mishra (Director Sales & Business Development)As Director Sales and Business Development, Prasanta Mishra is responsible for sales and revenue growth, client relationship management and building a strong partner eco-system.
He is responsible for developing new business and supporting the growth of existing accounts and driving the company's strategic process to identify, evaluate and integrate organic and inorganic business growth options, including mergers & acquisitions, partnerships and alliances. He has also been driving the company’s foray into new geographies. He is is a strategic thinker who delivers consistent growth under all marketplace conditions. His customer-focused approach drives high customer satisfaction, along with predictable growth.
He has over 15 years of extensive experience in US, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE and other parts of APAC, Africa and Middle East countries in the sales function with the Information Technology industry. Prior to assuming his present role at Porus Software, he has held several senior positions globally, including HTC Global Services and AG Technologies.
In his earlier roles, he has successfully managed multiple large client relationships and has led companies into new territories and services. He has set up global teams and processes across continents that have resulted in aggressive growth. Also, he has been responsible for multiple strategic partnerships at all levels.
In his current role in Porus Software, He supervises all the sales and sales operations for SAP ,Microsoft services, IMS, Mobility, Professional Services and Oracle solutions offerings globally. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Utkal University, India and PGDM from Welingkar Institute of Management.
